If the relevant authorities believe that the use of A-type high-intensity obstacle lights or A-type medium-intensity obstacle lights at night may cause dazzling to drivers near the airport (within a radius of about 10 km) or cause major problems that affect the environment, double obstruction light system should be applied. The double obstruction light system shall be composed of A-type high-intensity obstacle lights or A-type medium-intensity obstacle lights (according to the real situation) for daytime, dusk and dawn, and B-type or C-type medium-intensity obstacle lights for night use.
If the red obstacle light is provided with automatic control, the photoelectric device adjusts the light ON and OFF according to the measured illuminance value, and adjusts the light intensity level of the obstacle light according to the measured illuminance value.
Detection method: use instrument to measure, check whether the sample meets the requirements:
a) At dusk, when the illuminance drops below 54lx and has not reached 22lx, the white obstacle light should be turned off, and the red obstacle light should be turned on;
b) Before dawn, when the illuminance increases to more than 22lx and has not reached 54lx, the white obstruction light should be on, and the red obstruction light should be off.
