The floodlight shall be powered by an independent power cable, and the adjacent floodlights shall be connected from different power supply circuits. Two power cables shall be used to supply power from the power distribution panel at the lower part of each floodlight pole to the branch terminal box of the lamp panel.
The operating current of the floodlight at full load shall not exceed 70% of the cable ampacity rating.
The neutral line cross-section of the power cable of the floodlight shall not be less than the cross-section of the phase line; the lamp terminal voltage of the lighting fixture shall not be greater than 105% of the rated voltage of the light source, nor less than 90% of its rated voltage.
The floodlight should adopt centralized automatic control, and the rod body should be equipped with manual control function.
The electrical control of the floodlight should be able to realize multiple choices of full lighting and partial lighting, and the lighting switch and illuminance can be adjusted according to the operation needs.
When the light source of the floodlight is a gas discharge lamp, a three-phase power supply system should be used to reduce the stroboscopic effect. The power supply of the lighting fixtures in the adjacent aiming direction should be connected from different phase lines.
The TN-S or TT system should be used for the grounding method of the floodlight distribution system.
400 Hz static transformers and other power supplies are supplied through distribution boxes or power wells.
